Steve Biegenzahn provides exceptional legal representation in all aspects of bankruptcy law. Steve is uniquely qualified to represent debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees, trustees, asset purchasers and other parties in bankruptcy cases, receiverships, private workouts and settlement negotiations.

Mr. Biegenzahn has represented hundreds of corporate and individual debtors, and has confirmed reorganization plans in over sixty bankruptcy cases in various industries. He has done in and out of court workouts, appeared before all central district bankruptcy judges, and has also done state and federal court litigation and appellate work. Several cases have taken him to federal courts in Colorado, Delaware, Michigan, Oklahoma, the District of Columbia, and New York.

Mr. Biegenzahn brings exceptional litigation skills to his bankruptcy practice. After being honorably discharged in 1978 from the United States Marine Corps as a Captain, Mr. Biegenzahn spent two years with the Office of the Judge Advocate General (JAG) prosecuting more than 200 cases in his first year, and then defending Marines in three nationally renowned criminal cases.

Mr. Biegenzahn obtained his mediation certification at Pepperdine School of Law, Strauss Institute. Mr. Biegenzahn is acutely aware of the wisdom of resolving disputes without judicial involvement. Steve is an attorney who cares more about client results than gross revenue or billable hours.
